Josh Anzel

Partner

Josh serves as bond counsel to conduit issuers in transactions involving Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) structures and 501(c)(3) borrowings. He regularly advises clients on transaction structure, federal tax-exemption requirements, and applicable state law considerations.

Before co-founding Anzel Galvan, Josh was a partner at a leading public finance firm in San Francisco, where he practiced for 13 years.

Josh lives in the Bay Area with his wife, two children, and their golden retriever, Hoagie. Outside of work, he rows competitively with a local masters rowing club, enjoys cooking and baking, and is always planning the next family outing.
